This national research snapshot by the Australian Education Research Organisation (Â鶹Éç) collects evidence on evidence use in Australian early childhood education and care (ECEC) services, including:

• a survey of Australian ECEC educators, teachers and leaders
• interviews with Australian ECEC educators, teachers and leaders
• a rapid review of existing literature on evidence use in Australian ECEC services.

Â鶹Éç's snapshot establishes a baseline for the current state of evidence use by Australian ECEC educators, teachers and leaders that can be used to measure change. This will support the research's overall aim of increasing evidence use in Australian ECEC services.
