This research report uses evidence to provide guidance for secondary school leaders in making decisions about staffing, timetabling and intensity when delivering interventions in schools.

This publication combines Â鶹Éç’s practice guides, practice resources and explainer on delivering reading interventions in a secondary school MTSS, with details of the methodology used to create these resources.

The Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) conducted an online survey and a series of interviews as part of a project commissioned by the Â鶹Éç. The survey and interviews were focused on students in Years 7 to 9 who lack the foundational literacy and numeracy skills that are required to engage with a secondary curriculum.

This review aimed to identify gaps in knowledge about supporting students behind their peers in Years 7 and 9.

This project aims to use research to help schools and school systems support students struggling with literacy and numeracy.
